A Therapy Group for Latinas Holding More Than They Were Ever Meant To

A supportive, relational therapy group for first- and second-generation Latinas navigating responsibility, identity, guilt, and reparenting — while staying connected to the culture they love.

This group is about more than coping

Many Latinas grow up learning to be strong, responsible, and self-sacrificing — often without space to rest, question, or tend to their own needs. This group offers a place to slow down, reflect, and be witnessed by others who understand the cultural and emotional weight you carry.

Who this Group is For

  • First- and second-generation Latina adults

  • Those balancing cultural and family expectations with their own emotional needs

  • People who feel responsible for others at the expense of themselves

  • Latinas navigating guilt, boundaries, and finding their own voice

  • Those who want to honor their culture while gently redefining what no longer fits

What It’s Like to Be in This Group

This is a warm, human, and relational space — not advice-giving or fixing.

  • Sharing space with others who understand bicultural identity

  • Exploring cultural expectations, guilt, and responsibility

  • Naming the invisible load you carry

  • Reparenting and healing at your own pace

  • Practicing boundaries with compassion, not shame

This is a space where your experiences don’t need to be translated or justified. You’re not expected to carry everything on your own here.
